JUDGE DREDD - 2000ad Prog 601 page 16 and 17 DPS - VANYO

Superb full colour painted art by Vanyo ( Vanyo is the working name for the Spanish Vaño brothers, Eduardo and Vicente )
This is the opening DPS for 'ELDSTER NINJA MUD WRESTLING VIGILANTES', from 2000ad Prog 601, cover date 19th November 1988. It's a classic hilarious John Wagner / Alan Grant penned story poking fun at the newest fad, in this case, Tennage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
This was Vanyo's first Judge Dredd story, and they only drew 5 episodes of dredd in total, as they were in huge demand with the new Eagle, and other european comics.

This DPS is 51 x 73cm on art card, it has some minor repaired chips and tears on edges but the art is fine. The lettering is on acetate overlay.
